In June of 2019, Sam’s husband, Clint, joined their three heaven-born children after a 20-month battle with cancer. Clint died four months before anyone uttered, “Covid-19.” During quarantine, Evans began writing The Rocky Path of Mourning: Navigating the Loss of a Loved One and leading You Are Not Alone grief retreats.
